"Barry James Hickey's THE GLASS FENCE is intriguing and alluring. Hickey's mastery is in his intellectual architecture and how the characters' entrenched motivations mesh together with synchrosity. THE GLASS FENCE is a most enjoyable read.

I highly recommend THE GLASS FENCE. It is well written and says a lot as a snapshot of our current society being driven by desires; some predictable, some not so predictable. What I loved most about THE GLASS FENCE is that no matter how much I tried to predict what would take place next, I was gladly proven wrong.

The real testament about THE GLASS FENCE is that I still care about its characters, and that after 352 pages I am disappointed it had to end. And what a finish!."
